Compact room, spotless bathroom with a bathtub. Excellent staff always on hand. Incredible location, just a walking distance from Warkworth Memorial Hall. Only 5 minutes walking to the city centre.

Ideal location for our needs with parking outside. Good evening meal. Bed comfortable.
Little things can be done to improve the guest experience. On arrival, we had to ask for our bathroom rubbish bin to be emptied, because it contained ooh-naasty waste from a previuos occupant. The sugar on the breakfast table had specks og black stuff in it. After unpacking, I put my bag on top of wardrobe. When I took it down the next day, it was dirty from heavy dust that had been on top of the wardrobe.

Room very pleasant with excellent view of Warkworth castle. I also liked the main dining room and the conservatory style dining room adjoining.
The entrance/reception area seems rather dark and dingy, which gives a rather poor first impression.

The hotel is beautifully placed opposite the castle. Warkworth is a lovely village and the staff were fab.
I didnt have a problem with the shabby chic look which was quite endearing. However first impressions in the reception is tatty. It would not take more than a lick of paint and a new carpet to really give a much better perception.

The welcome was friendly. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished in a homely way.The view was great, overlooking the castle. Breakfast was great! V. relaxed atmosphere.
Few quirks! Bit run down and in need of refurbishment but prefer homeliness than modern hotel with no atmosphere.

A Lovely Stay with Great Views!
Enjoyed a good evening with my daughter, especially the fine view of Warkworth Castle from our room. The dining experience was really good. My picky eater loved the meal. For future guests, request a room with less noise from the bar area at night for a restful sleep.

Friendly staff, good selection of food and all eatable, If I had to nit pick breakfast I have always found that porridge is served as a cereal not a main dish. but still I enjoyed it, made just as I like it. The hotel...

The staff were friendly, the beds comfortable, the view of the castle, it was quiet at night.
Although the room was good, the approach needed updating, the carpets were worn and stained, the entrance was in need of a coat of paint in the lobby. The breakfast was good if you wanted a cooked breakfast, but poor if not. There was no fresh fruit, I brought my own bananas, there was tinned grapefruit and prunes. Plain yoghurt and honey could be ordered, but the 3rd day they ran out of honey and the 4th day they ran out of yoghurt.
